Question about Amplifier, and set up

Hey, want to get all the power out of my subs I can. So I am wondering if I get a 2000W x 1Chanel @ 1OHM, would it work good with 2 600 RMS subs? I am getting the Rockford Fosgate p3d4-12" and the MB QUART ONX12000D 2000W CLASS D MONOBLOCK AMPLIFIER AMP ONX1.2000D.

Also, would i need a capacitor or anything with it? I am getting a Dodge Charger when I build this setup.

No need for capacitors, those are obsolete or simply a myth that they help, in most cases they may ruin your alternator.

What you need is a Big 3 wiring upgrade with gauge 0/1 ofc wire and an AGM Deep cycle battery and probably an additional small agm battery dedicated for the the system and sometimes an alternator upgrade if you experience week lights.

I do not want to give you advice on the subs and amp recommendations, other knowledgeable members can give you better advice.

Having a 2000W mono channel amp will do great with 600RMS subs, MonoChannel amps will drop to half there Wattage If you use a 4 Ohm sub
The Fosgate P3 will be a little underpowered with a a 2000W monochannel, it being a 4 Ohm sub means you will only push probably 1k watts to it.

what are you smokin ,the subs wont take much more than rms rating ,with the subs and amp your using i can see that you are a noob,no pun intended.any way get better subs as the fosgate subs are junk. the amp is ok at best too.better can be had if your buying new .if buying used ,just turn the gains down ,so you dont blow the subs ,which i for see in your near future ,sorry to say .

Well, that is your opinion, I personally love fosgate, they have very clean bass. Ya there are better ones out there. It all depends on how you like to listen to your music.
