My spare tire well rattles like hell. I bought beanbag fil and polyfil and put some polyfil around the tire. It didn't make much of a difference. Now I'm contemplating if I should try the beanbag fil but I feel like it might just make it sound worse...
yea mine too so I went out to a field and turned it up and looked under there the whole thing flexes about a 1/4" in each direction I really see no way to stop that kind of pressure? maybe a little quickcrete pour into there?
Lots of deadener? Or a steel plate welded/adhered in? :D
Ya it's the main thing you hear on the outside of my car. What kind of deadener should i try? Good price and works well.
I have part of my box in the spare tire well and it was rattling pretty bad. I used expanding foam under the box and then fiberglassed over most of the rest and it seems like it helped a lot.
i cant see deadener doing a whole lot unless u just pour like a gallon of that liquid stuff. Weld a steel plate to it?

Does the spray foam damage anything? Could i still get the tire out if needed?
Yeah I made a thread about this, stupid GM made a plastic spare tire holder...
