I did a search to see if I could get any good hits on this but I didn't find much details.
I'm wondering what's a good way to frame out a window, such as an small acrylic window in front of an equalizer or amp rack. Specifically I have an amp rack I built that goes in the the spare wheel well. The carpeted wood "floor" of the trunk will go over the top of the amprack sub-frame so it's flush with the bottom of the trunk. I wanted to route out a rectangular window so you could see the amps. I'm wondering what's a good way to frame the wood cutout against the acrylic. I'm thinking the acrylic window would either be flush with the rest of the floor or recessed 1/4" or so. I'm just not sure how to interface the cutout to the acrylic. I think this makes sense!...any ideas would be great
