I have an MTX6500d and Im wanting to get a bass knob. now i dont know if retailers in my area would have an mtx one.....so can i buy a RF and it will work? or are they brand specific?

Well, I would say see what connectors they have first. The ones that I have seen appear to have a phone cord type wire with 6 connectors. Give it a shot and see what happens, worst thing you can do is fry your amp, right?

Umm the wires can be different sometimes I had a fosgate amp and it used a 4 pin phone cord while my new Hifonics uses a 5 pin design.
