Hey i have a kicker solo x 18'' and i was wondering out of these two amps would be best to power it. Orion D5000 or the Hifonics Bxi2608d?
I know the orion is a good brand and same for hifonics so all advice is appreciated :)

i would go orion over that brutus.
how come u think orion? the orion is more of a pain in terms of feeding it power

Kept some electrical properly feeding it @ .5 ohms daily and it never broke a sweat. I personally like the Brutus line, but that's me. The older stuff was price/wattage worthy imo.
You picked the wrong sub if you worried about powering it. It's really with anything you do with your car whether it be to make it faster or louder you need supporting mods. You gotta pay to play..
am not really complaining about power just want to know which amp is better

That Brutus will be lucky to make 2300 watts. Orion all day if you have the electrical for it. If not get a different sub
I prefer the Orion over the Hifonics amp.It should deliver,and out perform.Of the two amps??IMO.. ORION without question
