I will be running around 3000 watts daily probably a little less. Will the 1400 support that or will the 2400 be the only way? i want to be rid of the battery in the rear.
I put a 2400 under the hood of a 7th generation Civic. Had to lose the plastic tray, move it as far back as I could and make a new hold down. Great battery.

The brass ones that stick up like normal terminals. Crap, just realized mine is a 5100. It's 1/10" shorter and not as deep as the 2400. I doubt the 2400 will fit. I couldn't close the hood when the battery was in the stock position - without the terminals mounted. Moved it back an inch or so and everything was perfect.

so you think the 1/10th will matter? i could make all the other dimensions fit because i have a cold air intake so there is lots of room. the only concern is the height
Re: XS POWER Group Buy | Details Inside
The batt prices are rediculous when compared to shuriken......I'm gonna go with shuriken on this one and save my wallet

with this sale a BT120 is ten dollars cheaper than a D3100, and the D3100 will outperform it.

I have a quarter inch of hood liner and it doesn't touch. My concern would be the size of the shelf. Mine is pushed to the back edge. I'd build one out of cardboard - dimensions are on the Web site. Put it in place, close the hood and see what happens.
