Icon30 Best Subwoofer for a Alpine Mrp-350 Amp

Im looking for a subwoofer that would kick on that amp. Any recommendations? This is a list of some subwoofers I have found that are cheap and could handle the RMS output of the amp. I dont want to spend alot of money because my last 2 subwoofers where JBL and my amp killed them, because I thought the box was bridged and it wasnt and the airflow from one sub was moving the other so it looked and sounded like 2 where hitting.

    Alpine SWS-1241D - 200W RMS 75 bucks
    Audiobahn AW1251T - 400W RMS only 42 bucks
    Infinity Reference 1230w - 300W RMS at 59 bucks
    Pioneer TS-W34C - 150W RMS one for 39 bucks

P.S. I have a question. My dad tells me to get 2 subwoofers because it would be stereo sound but the amps mono. Don't 2 Channel and mono amps sound the same? If you only have one subwoofer isnt that 1 channel so its mono?

a mono amp is a 1 channel amp. Mono amp can be wired to as many subs as u want. The power splits between the subs.

Thanks so if the amp says
    200 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms
    350 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms

I would want to wire the sub and amp at 2 ohms to get the max power?

that is correct. But remember to get a sub that can be wired to 2 ohms. or 2 subs that can be wired to 2 ohms. For example my subs are DVC 4 ohm subs. They can only be wired to 1 ohm load and 4 ohm load. so i would not be able to use the 350 watts that ur amp could produce. And 1 ohm would be too low for the amp and it would kill the amp cuz it cant handle that ohm load. But if i had 1 DVC 4 ohm sub then i can wire it to 2 ohms. Use this for reference. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/wiringwizard/

Audiobahn AW1251T says 2 Ohm or 8 Ohm Operation and that its Dual 4 Ohm. So if i wired that to subwoofer to 2 ohms I would get the 350W RMS power from the amp?

This is the sub that im thinking about getting http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/1631

    yup.

Can i suggest a different sub to u? i wouldnt recommend Audiobahn subs. There are many subs that would give u great SPL and SQ with 350 watts. How much can u spend on a sub?

I dont want to really spend alot of money, around 80 dollers is the amount I would want to spend. I thought Audiobahn subs where good, and could hit hard?

it will get loud, well not really since its 350 watts, but more importantly it will sound like Poo.

save up 20 bucks and get one of these. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=18803

or get one of these. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=39777 much better than audiobahn.

or grab a 15" http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=18804 these are MUCH better than audiobahn in terms of SQ.
