startin a system for a 96 grand am and lookin for input

hey i'm brand new to the site and i'm also brand new to the car audio deal. basically i work my *** off and have nothing better to spend my money on so i've decided to start up a sound system. one question is i heard that if you buy all one product brand, you can contact that company when your system is done and they offer deals (for instance paying for half of your system) so far all i have is a sony xplod deck that says a bunch of extra **** like "52 watt X 4) etc etc. next thing to come in will hopefully be a big *** xplod amp and i'm just makin sure i'm on the right track. obviously **** like this takes a lot of time for people like me to save up for, and i just wanna make sure thati 'm buying the right **** to match the **** i have without blowin up **** in the future.

btw why did my cd deck come with a remote...anybody who's sittin in their car who is too lazy to reach forward to push a button has got a serious problem. i had a good laugh when i pulled that out of the box.

well, i keep my remote in my hand while driving...

i play my stuff loud when in the streets these days (now that i have tint)...

so when cops roll by or somethin i can press mute button fast....... faster than having my hand do it while making a turn and seeing hte cop and lookin down..

i drive fast too, so its necessary .

Also for when outside the car and checkin out if my trunk makes sounds.
