How do you turn internal amp off on Alpine CDA-9815

I need to know how to turn off the internal amp on a CDA-9815. Someone hook me up.

well as far as i know they dont have anything that would resemble a turn on/off switch or anything... just dont hook up any speakers to it so u dont draw power from it. that should do it.
btw. why would u want to turn it off... just curious

He prolly wants to conserve power, but just don't hook any speakers up to it and it won't draw any aperage.

alright thats cool i dont have it hooked up to any speakers. I just wanted to conserve power cuz i have 3 power wires running to my stock alt and battery. Dont wanna fry my car's electrical system.

it's in the manual page 23 and 24 titled setup. press the F/setup button until pwr-ic is displayed then turn it off CC

try reading the manual. I just recently turned mine off on my 7897 and I really can't tell a diference.
