Will i be able to tell a difference between putting about 200 watts to each of my subs and 300 watts? Will it bump that much harder,are will it not change that much. I have 2 12" pioneer impp's.

You might be talking 1db or 2, not much though.

There will be a noticable difference but nothing too big. With the bigger amp you will be able to get the same amount of bass power without pushing the amp as hard. This is assuming that you are talking about 2 amps of the same brand. A 200 watt Jensen would be blown away by a Rockford in the 300 watt range. What amp do you have now and what amp are looking to upgrade to?

I dont have an amp yet but i was lookin at gettin a rockford 500.2 or a rockford 800.2,and i was thinking like u natem33 that the 800 wouldnt be strained as much.
