I am looking to get either 2 12" AQ HDC312 or 2 12" DD 3512, any pros/cons with either setup being run into 1 ohm load with Earthquake Class D PHD5000W amp. LMK what would be the best setup, with a conservative budget in mind.

You'll be fine with the EQ amp. The AQ's are rated at 1k rms on music.
