I've got a '73 Plymouth Duster. Right now ive got an alpine HU and (2) 6x9s hooked up. Im about to hook up an amp and (2) 12'' subs.
Well later down the road, I plan on getting some more subs and an amp.
Will I need another battery?

Depends on what you plan on running.. If you want to run a nice amount of power an unpgraded electrical system is recomended.

So if I get another battery, wont it die fast? Then I will be recharging it constantly
edit - the amp is a Hifonics 1600W and its with 2 DLS sp12i
As for later down the road, it will probally be like (2) 10's or 12's

you have a long way to go before that, and if their is caps and/ high output alternator would be first.
I would recommend a high output alternator first and a nice aftermarket battery then upon finalizing your equipment choice decide if you have enough power on tap to handle the demand.
