Any decent/cheap hu's that come with an EQ?

I've looked around and come up with the Bluapunkt Casablanca.....but it has some problems playing some burnt cd's.

Many years ago (back when tape players were cool) I had something like a 10 or 12 band eq that I just loved. It had a seperate sub level and some kinda sub boost with dialable frequencies.....ah the good ol days. Anyway, I loved tayloring my music with an eq, so I'd like to see a decent h/u with one, or maybe a seperate eq alternative that won't break the penny bank

Well the Casablanca is $110 from Ikesound. I may convince myself to spend~$200. Well it's actually my bank account that has to be convinced lol.

I think a guy tried to sell me one with a 5 or 7 band and it was a lil more than I wanted to spend.

I've had experience with the casablanca (the '02 version I believe), and it played cdr's just fine for me. As a precaution, burning a cdr to full capacity will theoretically play better, so you could do that.

If you don't want to spend too much look into the kciker KQ5.
I put it in my dads car and it sounds great. Plus it's a quasi papraetric EQ with a remote bass knob, and has a line driver that boost ur preamp signal to 7 volts.

I think you can spot these on ebay for around $120 new. They retail for $350 so they're a real bargin.

But if your not afraid to speand a little more...... audio control makes some nice eq's. The three.1 and four.1 really allow you to tairlor your sound nicely.

And as you can tell , I don't belive in EQ built in HU's....they usuallly $uck and are a pain to adjust. Just my $0.02
