So...some good bass songs that are in the Rock genre??

What are some people's favorite rock sorta songs that have good bass for the car? I like some rap and all, but what are some good rock ones too? I have a list of my own, but I'm always looking for new stuff to cruise to. Thanks

    Is that what you meant?

As far as the question....I'm not a huge rock guy....but Sublime has a lot of songs with some nice bass.....they're one of the few rock groups I listen to on a regular basis.

Oh yeah, Finger Eleven has some pretty nice bass as well

Eh....I've never been able to get into them. I don't know whether it's the incessant drop D power chords, the rapping with a cadence from 1985, or the obnoxious whiny singing. But they do have good taste in music.

    LOL

One of the tracks off of Reanimation, 'frgt-10', I think it is, is pretty good- Chali 2na makes an appearance in it...

That whole album was just remixes to Hybrid Theory

Yeah...it was good because Alchemist (one of the most under-rated producers) had a big hand in producing it.

limp bizkit, if you can call that rock anymore. disturbed of course has some good bass. whiskey in the jar by metallica is one of my favorites for the system. monolith by stone sour is awesome. if you can find it anywhere there is a new band called pinata they have a song called uninspired that is just amazing. alienate me by coal chamber is very good as well. not falling by mudvayne is sweet, the whole newer mudvayne cd is sweet. also motor breath by metallica is good.

Most everything off of KoRn's oldest, and newest cd's. (Blind and ***** especially; nice low, loud, clean bass).

Goldfinger, suprisingly enough, on stomping grounds, hang-ups, and some of their self-titled. "You think it's a joke", "Margaret Ann", "99 Red Balloons", "Counting the Days", etc...

As before mentioned, Linkin Park, especially on Reanimation.

On Limp Bizkit's original CD, $3 Bill, the song "Indigo Flow", and the first bass note of the song after it, "Leech".

As Cobra mentioned, Mudvayne, but their first CD L.D. 50, not the new one. The bass on their new cd is annoying IMO. "Internal Primates Forever" has a sweet @ss bass hit that starts randomly about 1/2 way through the song and hits a few times.

Some Marilyn Manson, "Mr. Superstar", "Reflecting God", and "Tainted Love". Also some stuff off of Mechanical Animals.

A lot of the stuff on Break the Cycle from Staind has really tight kick-drums on it, and "Epiphany" has a loud but oddly shaped bass note through most of it.

Black Sails in the Sunset from AFI has really tight, good sounding bass, but it's not very loud.

Umm..... running low on ideas...... looking through massive cd collection....

How could I forget.... RATM on either their self titled CD, or on Evil Empire.

Powerman 5K, especially on When Worlds Collide, but some on Anyone for Doomsday. (W00T, get to see them in 22 days )

Hed(PE).... enough said... except for maybe thier new cd; haven't heard it, don't want to.

Getting lazy so..... Sepultura, Slayer (some), Soundgarden (some), Sevendust, American HeadCharge, Mushroomhead, Forty Below Summer.... gah.... too much music.
