Amp Connections

OK guys...I have heard a lot of different things but I was wondering what is the correct sequence to hook the wires to the amp? Mine are all hooked up fine and I didn't have any logic to it, but my friend is doing his and I want to make sure he doesn't fry anything. Thanks

Just keep the battery disconnected while you hook everything up. Then when everything is hooked up properly reconnect the battery.

I just unplugged the fuse from the battery to the amp so there was no power running to it. Then hooked up the ground, remote, power...then the speaker wire, then plugged in the RCA's, then plugged the fuse back in and was good to go.
