    Icon32 question on V-drive for cda-9815

I just got a alpine cda-9815, and was wondering since it has the v-drive internal amp, do i really need the 10 gauge wire to the battery? Or would the regular power wire that it has be all right?

If you are wondering what I am talking about, Crutchfield reccomends that I use their 10 gauge wiring kit...I didnt buy it from Crutchfield, but was wondering if you really need to do this?

I just used the stock wiring with my 9813...no problems what-so-ever.

The power lead on your Xterra should be beefy enough.

    No problem...

You're going to have a very nice setup once everything is installed - and you'll be very pleased with the 9815, it's one hell of a unit.
