Doing a big install, need some help!!!!

Okay, my friend saw and heard my system and he loved it, wants me to install his system, the car is a 67 Ford Galaxy. Car is already stripped and he started the deadening already, and before we put the seats and carpet back in, i thought to my self lets run the wires and get that out of the way.

So his setup will consist of:

    Sundown SAZ-3000D
    Sundown SAX-100.4
    (2) SSA Icon 15" D1
8 Cubic ft. @ 32hz by BJ Fisher
    HO Alt
    Big 3
    All KnuKonceptz Wiring
Not sure what batteries or speakers

Not sure on what components to go with, and how many, but the wanted to use what he had in there. Which was a set of Pioneer 6 1/2 4-ways, and a set of Pioneer 6x9 4-ways, will, pretty much Pioneers top of the line coaxials. I know components are the best, but just curious how these will hold up.

I was thinking 2 runs or positive, fuses in all the right places. I did this sketch up in MS Paint, will this be right. Also is it better to do 2 runs of ground, or just ground the battery up front, and ground the rear one, with 2 runs to the chassis, sanded of course

    agreed...

Just to clarify though, you want to keep the 2 after the second battery and remove the two right before the second battery because the fuses near the first battery protect that run of wire.

So if the wire shorts near the batt in the rear how is it protected? The fuse towards the front only protects that battery and since both supply power they both need to be fused...

The extra fuses on the rear battery run from the front, are not needed. Yeah, they'll give better protection, and a sense of security. You don't have to use them. If your buddy doesn't mind payin' the extra, have him pick the extra ones up.

There is no such thing as too many fuses in a daily driver.
