    More Specific Headunit Advice

I have pretty much narrowed down to three different choices, either the Pioner P6400, the Alpine 9815, or an eclipse (don't know that much about eclipse) i was wondering which of these three you would advise. I am looking for mostly sound quality and a nice display, price doesn't really matter, and i will be hooking up a 4-channel amp. Post your suggestions between these three,

For sound quality, I prefer Eclipse. Other decks may have more features, but that doesn't mean they sound better(or even as good). Good luck with whatever you buy.

Alpine lack in features? They have put a ton of stuff into those decks over the past 5-6 years or so(for better or worse).

You can only use alpine? Do you mean you just prefer them to others or do you work at a shop that sells them so you have to use them??? I am not a big fan of TONS of features in a deck. I want the best sound quality possible, and I never thought a ton of features necessarily lead to maximum sound quality.

Meaning that My "Car Audio Religion" only accepts Alpine as head units. In the past 8 years or so I can say I've had at least 25 or so HU in my car and buy far Alpine sound the best. Features don't = SQ but it's good to have your little gadgets every now and then. I have had around 6 different alpine HU's and loved every one of them. I am hearing and seeing a few good things coming from eclipse though, I wouldn't mind sampling them.

Demo an eclipse in your vehicle sometime. You might just change religions. I am not saying alpines are bad, but I think eclipse makes a better sounding deck.
