question about sattellite radio on a vehicle

if you have a vehicle that comes equipped with sattellite radio and you put in an aftermarket cd player that is sattellite ready are there any extras that you have to buy to hook it up, or will it just be plug and play? just a quick question and i figured someone has ran into this and could give me the answer.

You will most likely be able to reuse the antenna that came from the factory but you will need a brand specific adapter for the radio to receive satellite radio.
