    car audio liquidation

So i was watching fresh prince on Nick at Nite on tv last night and a commercial came on about a car audio liquidation sale in CT this weekend, friday sat and sunday and they were showing kickers, JL, alpine and shitloads of car audio stuff for like 75% off retail value. The problem is i cant remember where the **** they said it was being held. Anyone know??

They show Kicker, JL and Alpine pictures... then when you get there, it's Rockwood, Jensen, Dual, and their top of the line is a few bottom-end Pioneer decks.

Don't waste your time, I've been to these things before.

    Re: car audio liquidation

I recently went to one of these shows with a few of my friends. This is where my buddy picked up his Konaki sub. For $115, this thing is an SPL monster.

But yea, unless your looking for no-brand subs, ****** amps, or hundreds of prefab boxes, I'd say forget it.

yea, all prefab boxes and stuff they sell at the flea market. You'll find out it's kinda false advertizing once you get there.

I went to one at the Meadowland's Expo Center an few years back. Biggest waste of time ever. Everything there was garbage with the exception of a few things that were selling for normal retail price. Where in CT are you guys?

    Re: car audio liquidation

I'm in Plainville. I've never even bothered to go to one of those liquidation shows. Something irks me about paying for parking, then paying for admittance. Then once you get inside it's a sea of crap. You may find a deal here or there, but how much did you really save in the end?
