    Depends on what you're looking for in a sub and how much you have to pay/how much you are getting them for.....in my humble opinion, they look better than they sound....

    gaunlet

    i currntly have two ten inch mtx thunder4000's... i have a chance to get two ten inch of those audiobahns today... will they be a good improvement from the mtx's?

    more than likely.. but i don't know. The MTX will probably sound better.. but i have not heard 4000's, i've heard a lot of 'bahns, and didn't like any of them (sound really muddy). Just my personal opinon.

    Ask to hear them first, hook them up, if possible, and then compare//contrast what you like. That's my best advice for ya.

    Well....overall it won't be a huge improvement....SPL will probably be a little better....SQ will be a little worse......if you're doing a straight-up trade type of deal, I would do it simply b/c neither of those are SQ subs, so you might as well get the louder of the 2....but if you have to pay more to get the 'Bahns, I'd stick with the MTX since neither is significantly better than the other in any one area...
