    optima red top (*read*) need answer quick...

    alright, my friend will sell me an optima red top for 100 (maybe with battery terminals). the battery was used for like a month and i think it may have ran a system, (i know, yellow for systems) but is this a good deal? I'm seeing them for like 130 online and w/ battery terminals i think its pretty good.

    (how long will this last me?)

    Yellow-tops are system-dedicated batterys....Red-tops are for your primary battery

    I'd ask him to come down to 75, I would personally rather pay the extra 30 for a brand new product....but 100 is still a nice deal if it's in good working condition....

    I can get an optima red top at Sam's Club for $100+tax where I live. Seriously talk him down at least another $20.
