What amp should I get for my 18" SX?

I need a 2 ohm amp for my 18" SX.

I'm trying to find a 1000-1500 watt amp for around/under $280. So far my choices are an Autotek MM1400 for $290 that's been used for 30 minutes, and a refurbished JBL GTO1201 for $250 shipped and a new JBL GTO1201 for $300 shipped. Is buying a refurbished amp a terrible idea? I"m in college so money's tight.

I know theres other choices out there but I'm getting exhuasted searching car audio for sale threads and Google. Please help me out
