do you all usualy make a seperater in the middle of your box to split the subs? I know its safer, but i'm anxious to get this box done and thats the only thing im missing. Just wondering if any of you dont do it, and your thoughts on it...

to tell you th etruth if you seal them in one common box well...
you are lookin for trouble
1 the subs have to work harder to move the same distance
2 if you hook them up out of phase well bang is the result
3 if one blows that one will run as a passive radiator and the other will prolly go fizzle pop bang
if separate
more bass

The aussie rice boi Slammed pulsar on 18's and tyres that are as thick as a condom :P

I am running my 3 HE2's in a single 6cu' box (w/o dividers) with a passive. I know that this contradicts what the other guys just said in every way, but then again hearing is believing. I have always ran 3 12's with a passive (for abut 6 years now) in an undivided box and have always had amazing results.

Lv = [(14630000 x R^2) / (Fb^2 x Vb)] - 1.463R
*Vb = vol. in cu"
**R = sq.rt. A / Pi (for square/slot port)

It's perfectly fine to run them in a single enclosure as long as they're not running in stereo - which would be pointless with subs.

youll be happier if you put it in there. you never know what could happen, some rain might get on one amp, and blow one sub but not the other. in this case, you would want them separated. or maybe im just pissed because i dont know how the **** some ****ing water got ****ing on my ****ing 2000w amp and ****ing causing the **** thing to ****ing blow the ****ing sub it was ****ing **** hooked up to. but when in doubt, play it ****ing safe.
