What to set amp crossover at using passive crossover?

What should I set the crossover settings on the amplifier at if I am using a passive crossover with my components? I can either select High Pass, Low Pass, or Flat. This is a 4 channel amplifier, and I will be bi-amping the crossover. They are three way components. I'm thinking it might be best just to set it to Flat and let the passive crossovers handle everything. Suggestions?

    Now Playing:
    JBL P80.4
Boston Acoustics Pro Series 6.53 Components
    Tsunami Silencer Sound Deadning

    Waiting for Installation:
Boston Acoustics 8.5LF Pro Series Subwoofer

    Coming Soon:
    JBL 300.1

If you set it the same on both, then you will effectivly be double the cutoff ability.

For example, 12db per octave would become 24, etc.

If you want a clean break, then thats what I would do. Otherwise, let the passive handle it.

    New and Improved system:
    JL12W7
    Alpine 7893
    JL 500/1
    Big *** Vented Box.
    Eclipse 4'' 2 ways

All adding up to a new bigger number...can't wait for the new season.
