couple pics of my new build in progress

just starting working on the new setup, figured I'd post a couple pics for you guys:

All the woofers involved, just going to be more of them. DD comps, LTs, and 1508s:

door panels in progress, still a lot of work to do:

screen in the dash redone, just needs to be textured and painted to match:

The enclosure, after some "trimming", it fits right behind the back seat, seats will still be in the car:

will post more pics as I progress.

8 Flushmounted 1508's? Awesome - will sound great if done right man, great project.

In-dash TV looks nice, so do the door panels man - you are def. getting there.

You have an alarm system, or are you planning on getting one/tint?

Re: couple pics of my new build in progress

I already have a top of the line alarm, and the back windows are tinted, I just had to rip the sides off for inspection. This car rarely gets left anywhere except for parking it at work in a guarded private parking lot, and when I'm at home, it's parked right outside my bedroom window.

The car will be tucking 20's on bags within the next month, so there's really no hiding that there's money into the car.

Re: couple pics of my new build in progress

I didn't take any pics of the work in progress, but basically I just build an mdf frame for the mounting ring, and cut it to match the contour of the dash. Then I cut through the dash right there, and then just epoxied the frame to the dash, and started with the glass and bondo.

Re: couple pics of my new build in progress

did you cut an open hole in the dash, like the size of the monitor mount, or just a small one to run wires through?

Re: couple pics of my new build in progress

I had to cut almost the size of the monitor out, it was too deep to fit without looking goofy sticking out too much. I would have liked to have gotten it in even more, but I wanted to keep the functionality of the glove box, and the latch is right behind it.
