can someone tell me what this box is tuned to?

The box is 42" wide, 14" deep, and 32" tall.

The port which is on the front of the box goes from the top to bottom and is 5 inches wide. Then the port length is 8.25"

I calculated about 7.44 before sub displacement tuned to 43hz.

Does it look something like this?

I calculated everything based on an assumption that you set it up like this.

4 door accord. Wallin it off. I got the box in and played it and it sounds horrible. Not loud at all. I really dont know what is wrong with it. There are some leaks around some of the edges that I still have to get but will leaks make THAT big a difference? I'm talkin its prolly a about a 138 db or so. When before it was about a 150 in the trunk.

I made a port plug to lower the tuning bc it was way to high, but it still sounds bad and does not get real low nor anywhere close to being loud.

Could it just be the leaks? I just dont really see the leaks makin that much of a difference.

    146.3 is a huge difference than 150...

but either way 2 15"s walled off should be pretty loud... might just have to go back to good ole woofer back, port back in the trunk

I did a 146.3 with my old hifonics amp. I'm doin about about a 150 with my new amp.

I got all the air leaks fixed and its a little bit better, but still nothing compared to what it was in the trunk. I really dont know whats wrong.

One problem I did find though is one of the wire tinsels came off on one my subs. So one of the voice coils wasn't workin. I am going to have to sodder it back on. I really doubt it will result in sounding like it should.

That could messed up a lot of ish, if you had the two subs together it would screw up the ohm load, it also means its taking half the power it should.
