my comp install thread, pics. all will be done today.. heres the fisrt

*this is my FIRST COMP INSTALL, dont be mean. ok first off i know the 6.5 looks ghetto as hell right now. i couldnt mount it under the door because there was no room ATM until i have the time to take out the stock speaker holder and make my own enclosure. so right now, its sitting ghetto. but sounding nice, pic:

as for the tweeter, it came out nice. gotta polish off that marker spot. the tweeter went it nicely. now i gotta drill holes for my xover, wire them up. and im good to go. tomorrow my new HU should be here, then ill install that and show pics:


PS... the comps are running off of HU power sadly dont have an amp for them yet. but they sounded **** nice when i tested them before i installed them into the doors.

PS. i did this all within 2 hours of it arriving here. got it around12:30 and im halfway done. but im not rushing thru it at all. i hate the gaps around the 6.5's -- thats where my stock grill went. is there any material i can use to mold in there to fill the gap?

got it wired. had to run to the audio shop to get some more wire i ran out.. just gotta connect my main power, then on to my other door. yee

Why do people put crossovers on the doors? Mine are inside the door and have had no problems what so ever of leaks or anything getting to them.
