Sub orientation in an extended cab f-150?

I'm going to be ordering a Brahma 15" sub soon and was wondering what you guys think would be the best position to face the sub. It's in an extended cab f-150 (the one w/the 3rd door and 60/40 split rear seat.) and I've removed the smaller section of the seat. I removed the padded part leaving me w/a 19" by 19" platform that I built and fit in the old space. I'm going to be building a box (open to designs) that will be 19x 19 on the bottom..but not sure about how to face it etc.. Any ideas?

Hmm..well seeing as my console is barely 15" wide I doubt that'd work. The back seat is really the only place I can put it as I wanna be able to still seat 4 comfortably.

I think we may be misunderstanding each other. There's no center console in the back, and not enough room to put one in. My question was pretty much will it sound better facing the back wall, the front..or upwards? The back wall has been sound deadened as have all the doors.

How much airspace for the Brahma do you have? Sealed or ported box?

Oh, and I would face it forward(toward the front of the truck) as opposed to the rear.

Well it's going to be a sealed box, not sure what volume yet..but the base will be 19x19 to match the custom platform I built for it.
