A 4 channel amp or a 2 channel amp to run component speakers

I have a 4 channel amp which im thinkong of bridging the channels together and running a set of component speakers of it as in the diagram http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y39/Icemedic/amp.jpg

What i want to ask is will it be better for me to get a 2 channel amp? The 4 channel amp is 4 x75 so bridged will give me 2 x 150, the 2 channel amp im considering is 2 x 150.

Well, wouldn't a 4 channel generally be more expensive? I'd just get what you need. If a four channel turns out to be the best deal, then do it.

Actually, a 4 channel amp that is 4 X 75 watts @ 4ohms would be more like 2 X 300 watts bridged @ 4ohms.

So unless you're running some ridiculous components I'd go with the 2 channel.
