FWIW Delphi is about to release an AM/FM/XM/OnStar/CD all in one which will fit perfect and be available from DSS Worlwide for a small difference with your old HU in trade.
Delphis aren't the best in the world but IMHO are pretty good maintain all other factory electronics compatibility. I have one and it is better than the Bose in ourr Miata and comparable to the Lexus ML system in SQ. My $0.02.

Any suggestions where I could find a 03' Chevrolet Silverado dash kit?? I am thinking metra, but I dont know of any sites that carry them. Also if anyone knows where to find instructions on removing the facotry radio, the new cars are harder than the old ones.
If you 'need' it now, Wal-mart might not be a bad choice.. they sell the same Scosche stuff as sounddomain.com..
Hope that helps![]()

12's and 10's don't sound together. Check it out they don't coincide.

Sure would like to hear the theory behind this.. If they are running different frequencies there should be no problem..Originally posted by skeetskurt

I'm thinking more that the Lanzar's passthrough on the pre-amp is being affected some how.. When I turn the 'bass boost' all the way down on the 10"s, the 12"s get louder.. I don't mean the 10"s quit canceling sounds (like some others implied would happen), the 12"s actaully move farther.. like when passing the signal through it looses some amplitute..
i'm thinking I might split the RCAs before the amps, send the HU direct signal into each.. not sure if having 2 amps on one RCA will lower the voltage by 1/2 or not (sure seems the pass through feature does)..
Also want to check into line-drivers.. those are amplifying the pre-amp voltage, right? So doesn't that degrade the signal as much as turning the gains way up? .. I also have the gains higher on the amps running the 4 volts from the Alpine, which makes no sense since the gains are higher than with the old JVC's 2 volt..
*sigh*
