Wiring Car Tweeters to my computer speakers?

I have the altec lansing 2100 set up on my pc, and my subs drown out my current tweeters. The simplest solution i can think of is to wire up car tweeters. If i wire a pair of car tweeters to my current tweeters, do you think i will hurt anything? I'm planning to just open up the case that holds the tweeters and wiring the + to + and - to -. I think it should work..
