Best way to get sound from iPod?

I am just curious as to what is the best component to connect your iPod to your stereo. Price is not a concern, I just want something where I can blast the stereo & keep crackling or distortion to a minimum.

I have mine run thru the aux input in my EQ sounds aight

I do it through usb plug, name of songs comes across deck its pretty nice

monster makes a nice cable u plug in the cig lighter that goes through fm radio it seems to work pretty good but im sure you will still have some signal interference. so id say go with Aux or a new HU supporting ipods

Not to jack this thread, but I have a iPod Shuffle 1GB, the new small one, and it doesnt have a volume indicator or levels to tell me how loud/where its at, and soo bc of this, I usually played it at max and set my head unit to 3/4th volume, and I think its the main reason my Type-R blew, so how do I set gains/volume on head unit and iPod to where it's ok?

Any help on that please?

PS: I got an iPod so my head unit doesnt skip on my cd's
