    Good System?

Hey everyone, this is my first time posting on this web site. I to be posting regularly with questions and help. ANYWAY, my question is: I am going to be upgrading my current system. What i have put together is 2 12'' resonant engineering SE subs in a seald box, a sound stream pic.2 880 amp, lightning audio 1 farad cap, and a full trunk dynamat kit. Should this setup sound good? It is going to be installed in the trunk of my maxima ( the rear seat dosent fold down).
    Thanks for any reply's, Mike
PS, this system is put together on a high school budget, so please dont tell me to go out and get sumthing more expensive, i cant afford it lol.

first off....welcome to the forum......2nd everything sounds good except for the above things......i'd recomend sending a pm to ifandorbuts on the forum...he makes a product called second skin.....just as good as dynomat if not better and cheaper......and as for the cap...kinda not needed...if your charging system is already strugeling....i'd advise using the money spent on the cap for an alt upgrade/ rewinding....other than that ....looks like u got a good start....

don't get dynamat, you can do better for cheaper, a LOT cheaper. how much is that trunk kit anyways? $150-200? talk to ifandorbuts about getting some second skin. just as good as dynamat, and it's a mere $1 per square foot. that'll save you a lot, considering $150 worth of dynamat might cover your trunk, but $150 worth of Second Skin will be enough to cover your whole car, twice!

I already have the cap and the dynamat. It cost me 90 bucks. **** i wish i heard of the other stuff earlier! It will have to do. One more question, what are your oppinions on wireing the subs? Which way you think i should go. I dont think there are any high output alenators for my car, correct me if i am wrong. What does it mean to rewind it?

rewinding it means taking it to an alt shop and they rewind the wires inside the alt for higher output.....
