Will I need a new alternator?

Im currently running my stock headunit with Sony 200 watt 6x9s in the back (no sony comments) and infinity 3.5s in the front. For christmas Im getting a pioneer 6400. Then with money I get I'm gonna buy 1, maybe 2 12" Type R's or S's and an amp. Am i going to have to replace my alternator? (i have the original one in now, i dont know anything about it)

you should be fine unless you are running over 1000 watts RMS.

Waht year Cutlass? I've got an 89 Ciera SL, and it has a stock 105 amp alternator.....you should be fine, youre not going to need more than 70 or so amps for your setup anyways. Probably less. On the very rare chance that your lights are dimming when you get everything installed, you can always get the alt rewound for like an extra 25 amps. I wouldnt worry about it though

I have a 105a in my beretta which is the biggest I could get from the GM dealer. does anyone know how much it would cost to get it rewound for more output?

I've got an 89 Cutty, and ive got 2 15's in the back, plus a little room to spare.....not much, but a little. If I were you, i'd get 2 K's. Theres a 10% off special when you buy 2, so a pair of 12s are like 240 or something. 1/3 the price of a W7, with just as much performance as a W7. Can't beat that.
