ok, but granted it had vga or dvi inputs that could be disconnected easily and connected to lilliput, would it work ok?

if it has vga then you can hook it up to a lilli. but as far as dvi(the special dvi that mac has) you will have to buy an adapter for it,or you could solder but you have to be a good solderer

Just wanted to say Sup. I got a carputer as well, I've have it for about 1.5 years. Any questions let me know.

This is a great thread, it has alot of useful information, good work on the write up Megalomaniac. but there is a little bit of misinformation in some posts, but its not that bad.

I saw the worklog of this on mp3car. very impressive I must say the temp guage that audi has I love how you reloacated that so niceley.

Finally, after almost 2 months, my carputer is finally in my car.

Car: 2004 Hyundai Tiburon GT
Computer: IBM Thinkpad X24 Notebook (1.13 GHz, 640mb RAM, 40gb HDD)
Frontend: Centrafuse

Nice work guys. Am I the only one that had problems with Centrafuse? It would NEVER remember my entire play list. So, I had to reload each time I wanted to use it. Kinda pissed me off. I use winamp, works wonders for me, oddly. LOL.

i never used the playlist feature. im too in deesicive so i just open the whole album

Well yeah, thats what I mean. But the next time it starts up, I gotta reload the album. It MIGHT have 500 to 900 mp3s loaded. Not even close to HALF
