Wiring a battery in the trunk?

I've heard of this... do people do this rather than use a capacitor (<---useless)?? I was thinking of installing a battery in the trunk... what size wire should I run?? where should I run it from?? I was thinking about keeping the battery I have in the front and putting a Optima Red Top in the back... is that ok... can someone enlighten my in this area??

Its only usefull if you need it.
You should run 1/0 ga with a fuse.
Sealed batteries are better for in trunk.

Yes, I would run 1/0 from pos. of the front batt, to pos. of rear batt... making sure to get a good chassis ground (in 1/0) on both ends. Also, make sure you fuse both ends of the power wire between the two batts. Also, I would recommend a yellow top over the red top for car audio

cause if there is a short in the middle only one battery will be protected.

the neg is the ground. run 0ga from back battery to somewhere on the frame for a ground. make sure it's a beatirful ground

Human cloning is outlawed because if Chuck Norris were cloned, then it would be possible for a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick to meet another chuck Norris roundhouse kick. Physicists theorize that this contact would end the universe.

Personally, if I were going to have a G31 under the hood, and one in the back, I would find a solid ground in the back and use both 1/0 for power... of course, then you would need 4 fuses...
