    what is an OHM?

i know it is like a resistance or something, but i need to know a detailed description.

im trying to get a subwoofer, and they keep saying stuff aboud ohms, but i dont know what this is.

is higher ohm or lower ohm better?

AH? (im probabaly going to get made fun of for this)

http://www.eatel.net/~amptech/elecdisc/caraudio.htm ----> Scroll down on the left and click on "ohm"

Ohm = The unit of measure for electrical resistance.
Resistance = The ratio of voltage and current.
Impendance = Impedance is known as AC resistance (measured in ohms) and is the sum of resistance, capacitive reactance, and inductive reactance. It is dependent on frequency.

    Just some daily vocab

Yeah theres a lot of good information on there. Read up some of it, but try and not get too technical with this stuff - just know how it works, and have some fun

Any more questions, feel free to ask.
