    yeah, actually i was about to buy some fake ones and i was kinda weary about their "manufacturer's warranty" so i called the DLS America and the guy said there are no authorized internet dealers.



    Its 106 miles to chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, its dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Just brings to light another reason why internet buyers need to beware, and why authorized local dealers are a good thing to have around.

    Focal was having a big problem with fakes aswell.

    I wonder if it is a better deal to buy the fake speakers. It looks like the only difference is the text and logo. Just a thought.

    Likewise, the only similarities are likely to be the cosmetics. Chances are very high that the quality of construction and designs are different in significant ways.

    You can see that amps are completely different, from a design standpoint. I wouldn't suspect anything more out of the speakers.

    wow the speakers look very similar, but the boards of hte amps are totally different

    Yeah, the amps are cleary different. And I wouldn't trust the fake ones at all. That is why people have to research and make sure people are exactly authorized dealers. That's a good lesson for all brands.
