Now I understand why eDead is so cheap

I bought 60sq. ft. of eDead v.1, it arrived today. I couldn't believe how thin is was! It looks like roof patching material, that's how thin it is! I'm dissappointed. Their website said it was .43 in thickness, but wow that's thinner then what I expected it to be. With as many layers as I'd have to use I'm tempted to return it and buy some Brown Bread instead. At least that way I only have to cover the same ground once.

Ah well, life is full of lessons. Now I gotta go put my rear seat and trunk back in since I tore it all out last night in preperation for today.

It's Ok, you can laugh, if nothing else it's good entertainment. LOL!!!

Just use multiple layers. That's what I'm doing with my B-quiet extreme. I can get far more sq ft and double or triple it up for the same price as something marginally thicker.

Is this not a reasonable place to park?

Thickness has near zero bearing on how effective the material is... Some of the best (read, $200 plus PER 3x5 sheet) is about 80 mils thick, not too be used lightly... as it is sandwitched lead and acoustical fiber...

Use it first, then complain...Ben's products always are worth the money...ALWAYS.
