dont post pics of your subwoofers on your myspace or facebook.

Also, i cant stress enough how important it is that certain people dont know you have subwoofers. One time i went over to my friends house and i had just gotten my subs installed, and out comes this kid i know is no good that was hanging with my friend. Til this day this kid is trying to hunt me down and steal my ****. Lucky for me i live in a double gated neighborhood so he wont be gettin in. and if i see his *** ima hit em in his face with some brass knuckles.

best thing i've forund for protecting myself is insurance. everypart of my car is documented and insured. some of it is hard to come by, but at least i won't be left with nothing.

I just had my system jacked i recently had another installed and added an alarm with a back up battery
And im thinking about having my seats welded in place and the back doors to my truck welded shut that should keep my amps and subs safe i hope

lol that sounds ******! welding the doors shut! lol. wat about the windows tho? anyone can knock those out with a golf club or something. i have first hand experience of that being accomplished lol.

If i weld the seats set all the way back and the doors shut there is no way there getting that box out I hope and the amps are under the box so those should be safe

also disable your trunk opener so it'll be a bigger pain in the *** to get into the trunk

I also thought this until they drilled out the lock in the trunk and i then had a big hole in the trunk lid!

So...If you know body work or know someone i would suggest shaving the trunk lock, doesn't take long i did myself and it not only serves as a safe gaurd but also looks great IMO.

How would you go about bolting your box down? L shaped type of metal and screwed to your box to the floor/sides or something using an odd torx screw or something?

i know they won't be getting my amp, because we had to unbolt the seat and lift it up to ft it in there. if they will try that just to get it, they can have it...

Stay up all night like I do lol. That helps a lot. Actually one thing would be very effective BUT most people won't want to do(But will 100 percent ensure that you will NOT have holes in your speakres . Is build a custom bandpass box for your subs. unless you do some massive scale most likely they can not reach in and do any damage to subs. and as long as box is bolted down. they will be some pissed off thieves ... suckers.... wow I almost feel bad for them... wait no I really don't. Honestly the things I would LOVE to do to thieves I can't post on here due to their non legal methods of torture .

It didn't happen to me, but I still get a vicarious thrill from it. My friend had an '01 Prelude with a mid-low level HU and a basic Amp/Sub in the trunk. He was up around 3AM and heard something in the drive way. Went outside and there was a guy kneeling by his driver's side door who was banging on the door/lock.

Unfortunately, when my friend saw this as he came around the front of the car, he said something like wtf, and that was when the guy realized he was there. My friend charged him while the guy scrambled back to his car, still running in the street with its driver's side door open. My friend got close, swung, hit the guy in the head. It only managed to push the guy toward his car faster and the guy got in and drove off. This is all, of course, according to my friend, as I was not there.

My friend had a make and model, plus a year range on the car that pulled off...

...and the plate number. All of it. He called it in to the cops, they got the guy later in the same day, and he had a bunch of stolen car audio stuff in his trunk when they pulled him over. Again, according to my friend, which was according to the person from the cops who called him with the update.

The dents to my friend's Prelude's driver's side door are probably worth the chance he had to hit a car thief, and get the guy caught.

This was 4 or 5 years ago.
