    Rockford Fosgate 360

I remember someone posting about Rockford's 360 a while back, and I just went on the Rockford's website they have some detail about this. It looks nice, but a little pricey.

Since when did they have a new website?

i love the capitalist nature of such a product... Rockford themselves states in their product description that they design and make some of the "better" head units for factory systems. The very factory systems that people would find unsatisfactory enough to use the product they're selling.

ie.. they make a crappy, unsatisfactory product.. and then instead of improving it, simply sell you a "solution" that costs as much as some of the better aftermarket head units on the market. Nice, rockford. Way to see a problem and not see a revolution in factory units being needed.. but instead, another opportunity to sell something.

it's like if you went to a restaurant and they gave you a crappy as hell dish.. then said "we know that today's food dishes aren't good enough.. so, we've come up with a way of making our dishes better!" but it costs twice as much as the dish across the street.

    things change with new years.

As far as the crossovers go.. do you really need something that has 153 bands of equalization? While nice, it does seem a bit overkill.

I would recommend something from coustic or from audio control to get the job done. If you don't like their offerings, you can try arc audio as well.

    No, I won't re-upload the Big3 pictures. Don't ask.

Car Manufacturers are out to save a penny if it comes down to it. So Mitsubishi says "we want something that plays pretty loud, but won't blow up and come back under warranty".

JL doesn't make factory systems, and they had a solution too.

I'm going to be getting one of these in the near future, excited to play around with it.
