What do you guys think of my first system build so far?

Kenwood X889 (bought)

Orion 8004 to power comps (bought)

Directed 1500D sub amp (bought)

Dynaudio System 260 2-way's 8" midbass/1.1" tweet (bought)
I plan to buy another set of the 260's for my rear deck around april or may

15" SI MAG D2 (will buy next month)

With the Help of NicK over @ StereoIntegrity I have a sweet design for my enclosure and my sub will be inverted to show off the motor.
(will build this in 2 weeks)

Stinger positive and negative battery Terminals with 1-0 guage/2-4 guage inputs each

0 guage power line from battery to trunk.

Stinger 2-way Fused Distribution box with Stinger 150 amp midi fuses.

4 guage power lines to both amps from distribution box.

3 pair Kicker interconnects between Hu and amps.

4 Guage speaker lines from sub amp to sub

15 guage Rockford Fosgate speaker lines to Dynaudio comps up front.

As of right now I bought everything except for the SUB.
I plan to rip the seats out of my car this weekend to install all the wiring.
I plan to built the enclosure and amp racks in two weeks.
I plan to buy sound deadener and do the front doors and the entire trunk in a month.

For my very first sytem I think I did a decent job and I have to thank a lot of you guys for all your valuable input over the last month.

P.S. I bought more than enough 0 guage and 4 guage to do the BIG-3 as well.

oh and I'm buying a heavy duti 1000 cranking amps battery soon.
My stock alt puts out 95 amps

lol sorry. when I start the enclosure build, wiring process and install of equipment I will take a bunch of pics to show. At that point I'll dig up this thread and update. I don't plan to have the build completed untill the middle of or end of March. Reason being is my doors do not take comps this big and I'm having my lower doors fiber glassed in March. Also I don't want to install the amps till I have the sub and comps installed.

When all is said and done I'll even get out my Mini DV and record some video of everything.

Sounds expensive. I like to see people with first systems that they bought off of crackheads and have to fab it in with duct tape.

But you sound like you did your research, and are on your way to a beautiful sounding and great looking system. Make sure to post pics, because not all of us are graced with your eyes

Thanks guys. I've always been a biker and cars have always been something I didn't want. **** cages! But I'm getting older now and decided it was time to have a car. With owning a car though comes the need for quality sound. I wanted to buy the best I can afford and I was on the complete wrong track when I first came here. I was set straight many times and after asking what seems to be a thousand questions or more between this site and two others, and reading every **** thing I could about all this stuff, I have learned a lot and think I have made good, sound decisions on all my purchases.

I'll start taking pics this weekend. get the whole before, during, after thing going.
