They make three models - the Group 51's are replacements for small stock batteries (Honda/Acura), the D34 fits 90% of the stock battery trays out there, and the D31 is made for a large space or auxiliary battery...

depends on what you want/ need the battery to do. as a single "bass fart" battery some say optima blue top or oddyssy 2150 and some say kinetik (seen/heard tests of each coming out on top). as far as reserve power goes in a reg sized battery kinetik has alot more reserve but it comes at a price (here you can get a yellow top at wal-mart for under 150) all will work its just where you put your premiums at not only that if it works good it works good. where reserve comes in is when you listen too it with the key off and or getting the electrical drained over time of loud listening with the later it would be a good idea if it becomes a problem to get a better alt or a maintaining charger (depending on how sever the problem is) never bad to have too much alt unless the price kills you...but then again if you want 5000 watts rms (true power) it comes at a price of a better electrical system too boot not just amps and subs.

thanks for the help, I already have a 160a altenator so i'm sure a second battery wouldn't be a problem. so are used batteries a good idea or should i hold off for a new one?
