    box covering????????????

    ok my box is made...the amp has arrived...but i am stuck!!!! i dont know what kind of material to cover my box with. i dont want to order some "box carpet." and i was looking at the stuff and it seems like it is velt-like???? could it be???? well what does everyone else use to cover there boxes and do you use the spray glue as well???

    use dynamat..... then come back and tell us what it sounds like we were just discussing this in the polyfill for boxes post. makes sense that it would concentrate more air out of the port instead of absorbing in into the wood or whatever

    dude i make boxes all day and night i use a can of3m sparay adhesive and felt from a craft store its less expensive and looks like carpet but make sure u strech the felt before u put it on trust me it looks tight

    i did use felt!!!!!!! but i used a different kind of spray adhesive.... and it turned out great.

    so if u had a sealed enclosure ould you still surround the inside of the box with edead or dynamat?
