    fiberglass vs kitty hair

    ok i almost finished my box but im almost out of resin and i still got some more mat to go on but i dont wanna buy any more resin so is kitty hair just as strong as resin cus i got a quart of it lyin around.....??



    Current system:
    03 Ford Explorer
    iraggi 300amp alt (on its way)
    Red top under hood and deka 9a31 in back ( on its way)
    stock mids and highs
    Pioneer Z110bt headunit
    1 18'' TC9/Audioque In 6cubes tuned to 32hz
    Audioque 3500D
    Handles the lows just fine

    Do not use it inside the box. Take the extra 10 minutes to get a quart.

    Next time just get a gallon, or whatever the biggest size is. Most cost effective and if you have any extra, just save it till the next project.

    make sure you coat the inside of the box with resin too.

    Resin

    No mat on the inside. If you are competing you want to get on the mic before and after you resin, and do absolutley nothing else.

    its not going inside...i already got resin in there but i just not sure if ima have enough resin to finish the mat on the second half of the box....

    Makes it smooth and promotes airflow

    As well as making it a lot more stronger and sealing up all the little leaks.
