need help w/ wood/plexi box

I have two 12's which i'm gonna throw in a sealed box. I want to mount the subs normally (not inverted), and face them toward the rear seat, and have the panel opposite of the subs be plexiglass, so you can see through and see the magnets inside the box. I want to cover everything in black vinyl or something, and have it so that there is a sideways stretched oval from which you see the magnets, how would i go about putting this together?
Anyone done anything similar?

i dont think its a good idea to have the subs firing towards the rear of the seat

instead of making the rear board plexi why don't you make the top board plexi?

for the vinyl i would glue it on peice by piece until its perfectly the way i wanted it

Does it make a difference if the subs are facing the seats? Is it really noticable, or only to the highly trained ear?

I got a TL, so if i make the top board plexi it would be pointless, cuz you wouldn't be able to see anything, the trunk area isn't very high...

i guess for the 1/4 in. wood, you may have a hard time finding, so any 1/4 in. wood would do.

Yes, youll notice a big difference in output.

I see, what exactly will be the difference. I'm a rook, so i've never heard big systems to compare.
