How much would it run me to get a basic square ported enclosure for 2 12" Alpine Type-R's...What tunning should i go with?

if you just want sq prolly around 28 hz, if you want sql, which is what i would recommend, anywhere for 30-33 hz, and if you want spl, about 35hz, but i wouldn't tune it any higher than that for the type-r subs. I owuld build you one if i had the time right now, but i dont.....

That is why I gave him some recommendations for tuning. But type-r subs are basically good sq subs. I guess you could consider them sql, but they def. aren't great spl subs.

yea ill prob with the tunning that is equal spl and sql...which is 35hz? because with them sealed their decently loud and if ported them they will be even louder which will prob suit my standards, so i wanna retain that sql with the ported enclosure...
