    Help please! - plexiglass window......

Alright here is my design idea:

Single 12" sub in a sealed fiberglass enclosure in the wheel well. The I want to put a false floor over with a cut out around the sub. In that cutout I want t put plexiglass for looks and function (trunkspace)

My question is, will the sound properly travel with the plexiglass overtop of the sub if there is no port?

plexi is not going to affect the sound of the sub. depending on how you have it mounted it might just act as another box above the sub....

but it will not affect the sound

if that plexiglass over the top is air tight it may pose as a problem, but i doubt it so you shouldn't have anything to worry about. When you have it installed, post pics.
