Re: box for a re 12

what do you mean by that how big the box could be?? it is going in to trunk of a bonneville so i would say about 30 inches wide, 17 inches high, 25 inches deep.

Yes what are the largest dimmensions you could use. And you need to be accurate. So break out that measuring tape and get to work

Thats where the voice coils former hits the speakers back plate. This is caused by over excurion. When the sub trys to move past it's mechanical limits.

Re: box for a re 12

    14"H x 26.5"W x 13"D - box
    12.5"H x 1.5"W x 28"D - Port

It will be around 1.58ft^3 tuned to 32.5hz. Should sound good with a RE RE12.

Use 3/4" MDF, wood glue, wood screws every 4" and predrill your screw holes. Silicone the edges to insure an air tight seal.

    Good luck.

You really need to pay someone to build the box if your asking that...

Its a slot ported box. The port bends in to the box, using a wall as one side of the port. So it bends in to the rear of the box...

Yes sir. It remains a constant 1.5" all the way tell the end of the port.
